Blackfish Lies
Brought to you by SeaTheTruth
For years I have been very interested in SeaWorld, I have studied and researched all of the orcas in their collection and now am fully aware of most of their details. SeaWorld has a aim of educating the public about the amazing animals and bringing people closer, there for inspiring them to make a difference just like they inspired me. On top of that, they also rescue and release thousands of animals every year.
In 2013, a documentary called "Blackfish" came out which focuses on SeaWorld's care and treatment of their killer whales. It also focused a lot on the tragic death of trainer Dawn Brancheau in 2010. After watching the documentary, heaps of people are now against SeaWorld and believe they mistreat their killer whales. However, Blackfish has lots of inaccuracies and in the film that confuses people or makes them misunderstand things. Some of them are also just totally lies. I stand with SeaWorld and I want to share with people the inaccuracies in Blackfish and tell people the truth, they can't just turn against SeaWorld after watching a 90 minute documentary, they need to first know the truth.
